A sneak peek at the Intuit Dome’s game-changing Halo Board

The Clippers partnered with South Dakota-based video display company Daktronics to build the Halo Board. But after interviewing several of the “usual suspects” to maximize the board’s digital capabilities, Gillian Zucker, the former president of business operations for the Clippers who was promoted in March to become CEO of Halo Sports and Entertainment, was underwhelmed, so she hired Spinifex Group—a digital creative studio known for theme park rides and interactive art—to craft immersive fan experiences. Their fresh perspective on sports venues made them ideal innovation partners. Spinifex mapped every seat and pixel, ensuring that every fan had a comprehensive view of the board. The smallest letter stands two feet tall, readable from any seat. Leveraging 4K resolution, they created what Zucker calls the most realistic motion graphics she’s ever seen.

Cayman Islands Department of Tourism names Praytell US PR and influencer AOR

GRAND CAYMAN: The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism has named Praytell as its U.S. PR and influencer AOR and Grey as its global creative AOR. The appointment, following a competitive, multi-month procurement process, tasks Praytell with overseeing media relations, the organization’s visiting journalist program, influencer relations, thought leadership, issues and crisis consultation, travel trade and consumer publicity and events for the U.S., the organization said in a statement. The firm’s travel and tourism client list includes Destination Canada, the Singapore Tourism Board, Kampgrounds of America and Air New Zealand.
